Williams, Arizona at 6,700 feet in elevation, is a quaint western style mountain town located about 36 miles West of Flagstaff along Interstate 40. Main Street is part of old Route 66. The downtown business district is on the National Register of Historic Places and preserved as if you are stepping back into the 1950s.
Williams is considered as the “Gateway to the Grand Canyon” with travelers only an hour away by car or a 2-hour ride on a scenic railroad. Lodging, Dining, Tours, a Wildlife Park and many other amentities are available.
Williams enjoys a mountain climate similar to Flagstaff with winter average daily highs in the 40’s and summer highs in the low 80’s. Night time lows average about 25 degrees cooler than daytime.
